Frequently asked questions
The practical details.
What DriveQuery is, what stays free and what still needs to be finalised.
Is DriveQuery available now?
DriveQuery is currently being built. The website is open early so drivers can follow development and join the early access list.
What will the free plan include?
The launch plan is a rolling 15-day view of trips and charging, custom trip tags, automatic classification suggestions and basic statistics.
How does automatic trip labelling work?
You first label familiar routes yourself. DriveQuery then uses recurring route and timing patterns to suggest labels for similar drives. You remain able to correct every suggestion.
Will DriveQuery store my Tesla password?
No. The intended connection uses Tesla’s authorization flow. DriveQuery should receive only the access needed for supported features, not your Tesla password.
Does smart charging need extra hardware?
The planned service controls supported charging functions through Tesla connectivity, so a separate controller should not be required.
Does Nord Pool price equal my final electricity price?
No. Retail margin, taxes, distribution charges and other tariff components may also apply. DriveQuery will make the assumptions visible.
Which countries are the first target?
The first website languages are English, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian, with Nord Pool markets as the initial smart-charging focus.
Is DriveQuery an official Tesla product?
No. DriveQuery is independent and is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.
